Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
If you haven’t all looked at the presentation Year 3 made during Christian Values Day yet .. please can I urge you to do so?? It is the perfect way to explain how wonderful our school family is and is on Year 3’s page on the website.
We all enjoyed Christian Values Day this week and welcomed our friend Chris Gilbert to school. We hope you like our new school motto display outside that Chris and the children made too! Many thanks to all the staff in particular Miss Copestick for planning such a special day for everyone. On Wednesday we will be welcoming the Archdeacon of Chester to lead Worship and meet our children and we are all looking forward to this visit.
Our post-Christmas theatre treat was also enjoyed this week; following today’s Parent Surgery we have now booked our theatre trip for the next academic year too. We will be going to Buxton to watch Aladdin on Thursday 17th December (we’ll send further details in September).
Our next Parent Surgery is on Friday 27th March and we are hoping Dean will be able to join us as we discuss a possible overseas residential for summer 2022. We are all very excited about this and if possible it would be great if parents/carers (particularly year 3 and 4) are able to join us.
