Chester Zoo - December 2017
The author of our current class book, Fate, came to visit us. C.S. Woolley did workshops with both year three and four. We thought about fairytales in the morning and created our own heroes and villains and then in the afternoon we weaved Viking stories. Our children are amazing story weavers!
Our gymnastics session with Eaton Bank
Science Experience at Eaton Bank
Year 3 went to Eaton Bank this morning for a science lesson. This was an amazing experience as they fully participated in exciting experiments to find out about energy in food. Mrs Page and I feel they were a credit to our school as they were so sensible conducting these exciting experiments.
Year 3/4 Able maths day
RNLI - Captain Marks
Captain Marks, along with his sidekick Stan, visited year 3 and 4 today to talk about lifeboats and how to stay safe near water. Working for the RNLI, he had lots of advice and interesting stories to share with us.
Titanic trip to Liverpool 2017
Roman Dewa Museum 2016
Year 3 and 4 visited Chester. We had a tour of the Dewa Museum, dressed up and became archaeologists. After lunch we toured parts of Chester with a real Roman soldier! We marched along and created our own Roman army. Look at our amazing manoeuvres.
What a wonderful time we had. We explored Beeston Castle, built some amazing dens and marched through the woods. We didn't get much sleep but it was worth it! We ate some great food (thanks to the Beeston centre) and we had some much needed fun and laughter.
