Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
Thank you so much for supporting our Macmillan Coffee morning today; the cakes were scrummy and everyone looked fantastic in their pyjamas! We are delighted to inform you that we raised over £700 which can be split between Cheshire East Hospice in memory of Mrs Reynolds and Macmillan. Special thanks to everyone who baked (or faked) their cake donations and to Maddie our Head Girl, Belle, Keir, Alfie, Year 6 pupils & Mrs Woodmass for selling and organising todays special event. Hope you all enjoyed Guessing the staff baby pictures too!
Please listen out for our amazing School Council and amazing Mrs Owen talking about our wonderful school on SILK FM every weekday 3.50pm (7th – 11th October). It was an absolute pleasure to listen to them talk with real emotion about our fabulous school. We are looking forward to working with SILK FM for future events so please do watch this space!
Can I direct your attention to our website to look for the Curriculum overage for each class. Here you will be able to see what topics and themes your children will be studying each term and this may help you support them in their learning at home.
This week we have sent home a paper copy of how to download our school app to all families in Years 1 – 6. PLEASE can we urge you to download this app so you can keep updated – daily with important school messages. If you are experiencing any problems doing this, please pop into school and we will be more than happy to help you.
Can I also remind you that our next Parent’s Surgery is on Friday 18th October – Parents, Carers, Grandparents and Family members are all welcome to join us.
