Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
It was wonderful to welcome our Reception Parents for lunch today, we all enjoy these Family lunch days, many thanks to Rachel and her team for welcoming everyone to school.
Today I have sent out a message with all the useful dates you may need till the end of term, this will also be on our school website if you need it.
Many thanks to those of you who have already downloaded our school song, please see last week’s Friday message for full details if you haven’t had chance to download and listen to this yet.
We are thrilled to inform you all that one of our little reception children, Maxx, will be on TV soon! Channel 4's new 4 part series called 'Puppy School' starts next Friday (May 17th) at 8pm. Maxx and his family will appear on Friday 7th June!! We will all be able to watch their dog ‘Galaxy’ grow from tiny puppy to an assistance dog under Maxx and his parents very capable hands! Maxx actually has a main part and we all look forward to watching him and his family soon.
Next week our Year 6 children will sit their end of Key stage 2 Tests (SATS) and we wish them the very best of luck. They have worked so hard and applied themselves to every task and we extend our thanks to Mrs Wilson and Mrs Woodmass for their incredible efforts and enthusiasm. As an end of SATS treat (only) Year 6 will be wearing their own clothes next Friday.
