Marton & District C E Aided Primary School

On Thursday the 1^st of May, the girl’s football team took part in a football tournament at Congleton High School. Throughout the tournament the girls made some amazing shots and there was some excellent goal-keeping from Lily. The girls won the first match 4-0 against Marfields, the second match against Quinta B team which finished with a result of 8-0 and the third match against Blackfirs A, finishing with a score of 2-1. With the result of the first 3 matches the girls made their way into the semi-finials and unfortunately lost 2-1 to Mosley. Despite the girls losing they still ended up with a brilliant 3^rd place

Special mention: Bea, Eden, Imayia, Kiara, Maddie, Mia, Millie and also a special mention to the coaches Susie and Steve Wain, without their help we wouldn’t be as good as we are.
