Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
I hope you have all enjoyed looking at the photos of our Triathlon Girls; aren’t they just incredible? We are all so very very proud of them and their achievements and the whole school has felt inspired and enthused by their thoughtfulness, enthusiasm and infectious efforts.
I am delighted to inform you all that our school song is now available to download and listen to. You can find this on Spotify/iTunes/Amazon/Google Music – search The Marton Family (you will even see a picture of our school).
The Marton School track is available to download to your device and will cost around 0.79 pence from ITunes or Amazon etc. Once you have purchased the track you can play it repeatedly at no further cost. However, if you have a music subscription to services that allow you to stream music like Deezer or Spotify then you can play the song on these services unlimited and just pay your usual monthly subscription fee.
Whether you buy the song or just stream it, the royalties are collected and will go direct to Marton Friends & family which will be passed to school for our wonderful children.
Please feel free to share this with your family and friends and via social media. We have great plans for recording your children singing this along with a few other 50th birthday treats but right now we’d like you listen to our song and support us.
On a further note..we have had a request from one of our Marton residents to ask if parents/carers could be considerate when parking cars and to turn engines off whilst waiting for children. Many thanks for your co-operation. Please can we also respectfully ask you to refrain from smoking or vaping on the playground or within the school grounds when you collect your children too.
