Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
Welcome back to school and Happy New Year!
We hope you all enjoyed the holidays and long rest. It has been wonderful to welcome the children back to school and start the new year.
We returned to school to a Thank you certificate from East Cheshire Hospice; you all raised £585.50 for this very worthy charity and we all had fun in the process – many thanks indeed.
I am delighted to remind you that Jackie (our Kickstart play therapist) will be here at school next week for her first Parents drop in session. She will be in school every Tuesday 8.45 – 9.15am before working with some individual children. We do have a waiting list of children that we know will benefit from play therapy, please rest assured that play therapy sessions for individual children will only begin after we have received parental consent.
After school clubs begin next week and we hope you have received this information.
We are all looking forward to the whole school theatre morning next week. Years 1 - 6 will be watching Wind in the Willows and EYFS children will be having a magician visit at school.
