Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
It’s felt very Christmassy in school this week; with rehearsals taking place (Mr Moss and I are now pretty word perfect for all songs!), Beth Cosgrove from New Life Church starting off the week’s Worship with the Story of the Shepherds visiting Baby Jesus, Rev Naylor teaching us a very modern version of a Little drummer Boy after her beautiful Worship, Open the Book doing their annual Christmas special and Rachel our school cook – preparing and cooking a yummy Christmas lunch! The festive spirit is definitely at Marton!
We are all very excited about our Christmas fair later today and look forward to welcoming you all back to school. Your support enables school to have lots of extra lovely items and in advance of the fair – we’d all like to say a HUGE thank you!
Next week we will look forward to welcoming you to our KS1 & KS2 performances and sending out the termly reports to parents. Parents evening slips should have been sent to you ready for parents evening on 17th & 19th Dec.
