Put your thinking caps on!
Today, we launched the Big Think. Each week, every teacher will devote time to reason in maths. Whilst we do this every day, it is a good opportunity for our children to focus on developing their resilience and reasoning skills. We encouraged our children to put their thinking caps on (why don't you ask them what their thinking cap looks like!) and to use mathematical vocabulary to talk about a maths problem.
We had great fun and I hope you hear more about the Big Think from your children in the coming weeks.
