Plant up day - Tuesday 23rd October
Progress on the Prayer Garden is ongoing and our next step is to get some plants and bulbs into the garden before winter. We are having a Planting Day next Tuesday and wonder if all children could possibly donate some plants/bulbs please.
We’re trying to keep the garden naturalistic so it’s in keeping with the surrounding area and encourages nature and stimulates all the senses!
All plants will be gratefully received!!!
In particular grasses, shrubs, herbs, scented colourful plants which like sandy dry soil. Please label your plants with name and approximate height/spread and drop off on Tuesday morning outside reception.
If you need to drop off on a different day please just leave them in the prayer garden by the benches.
We’ll also do some more planting in spring to bring in more colour. Anyone wishing to help please contact Julie Smith 07979355692.
