Year 6 Residential Trip – Monday Reminder25 June 2026 (by Year6) |
A quick reminder of the arrangements for Monday as we set off for our Year 6 residential trip.
- Children should arrive at school at the normal time. Although we are not departing until 10:00am, there will be plenty to do before we leave, so please ensure your child is in school as usual.
- Please ensure your child brings a packed lunch and a reusable water bottle in a separate bag from their main bag /suitcase.
- Suitcases/bags should be left at the front of school on the turning circle. Please do not leave them blocking the main entrance.
- Please make sure your child has sun cream applied before arriving at school.
- If your child requires any medication during the trip, please hand this directly to Mrs Woodmass, along with clear written instructions for its administration.
- Children will need a sleeping bag and a pillow. As bedsheets are not provided, we recommend bringing a single bedsheet as well, even if your child is using a sleeping bag, as the mattresses have waterproof plastic covers which can be uncomfortable in the warm weather.
- Children may bring up to £5 in cash if they would like to buy an ice cream from the ice cream van at the picnic area on Monday.
