Retirement News2 June 2026 (by headmarton) |
Good Morning
It is with both sadness and gratitude that I share the news that our wonderful School Bursar, Mrs Irene Laird, will be retiring at the end of October.
As many of you know, Irene has been at the heart of our school family for many years. Her kindness, dedication, wisdom, support (and endless shopping) have helped shape the warm and caring community we are so proud of today. She has been a constant source of help for pupils, parents and staff, and while we are excited for her as she begins a well-deserved retirement, she will be hugely missed. Quite simply, Irene is irreplaceable.
As we begin planning for this transition, we will shortly be advertising for a new Bursar, ideally to start in October to allow for a thorough handover period. Full details of the role can be obtained by contacting me directly on [email protected]. If you know someone who may be a good fit for our school family, please do share this opportunity within your networks.
There will be plenty of opportunities in the months ahead to celebrate Irene and thank her for everything she has given to our school. For now, I know you will join me in wishing her every happiness as she prepares for this next chapter.
Best wishes,
Nevin Deakin
