Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
It was a pleasure to welcome everyone back to school after Half Term and lovely to hear all about children’s adventures and achievements. Do keep sharing these with us; we love celebrating with your children.
We've been so excited this week by the range of extra curricular clubs available and know already that your children are enjoying these. HUGE thanks to the staff for organising these and taking part in them. If you are keen to become involved in running clubs, reading with children, offering sewing or knitting clubs etc… please do speak to class teachers, we’d love that!
We are all excited about World Book Day next week and will share pictures via School Jotter and Twitter (X) with you.
You may have heard that Attendance remains a growing concern across the UK post Covid, and this is something we are keen to improve at Marton, please do support your children and encourage good attendance to school. We are always happy to administer medicines to support your children's attendance. Lost learning is a huge concern when children are absent.
