Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
We have made it!! What a busy week (and term) this has been!
It was such a pleasure to welcome you all to the many school activities we have had this week; I feel all these activities show what a school family we are and it has been a delight to be part of this. We may be biased but we thought ALL your children performed beautifully and we felt very proud of all their efforts. Many thanks to F&F for providing refreshments for everyone. It has felt so Christmassy in school!
Children return to school on Monday 8th January and we hope this holiday enables lots of you to rest and enjoy being together. All after school clubs will begin w/beginning: 15th January.
Please don't forget we have our post-Christmas theatre trip to watch The Nutcracker on Friday 12th January to look forward to too.
We are really focusing our attention this year on Attendance and would urge all families to support children attending school every day. Missing days greatly impacts on learning and we want families to work with us on improving this.
