Marton & District C E Aided Primary School

Marton Friends & Family has always been extremely successful running fundraising events throughout the year such as the Christmas fair, discos and bingo nights to name a few.  The funds from these events go towards our annual commitments to school funding a number of things such as the buses for the annual theatre trip, classroom funds allowing the teachers to buy extra class resources, book bags, ties, Y6 leavers books and more.  These events have also helped to raise funds towards the KS2 trim trail, ipads, school books and much more.  

For this school year F&F have been running with 2 members (Treasurer & Secretary).  We have advertised previously for new members to come on board to act as chairperson and one or more people to plan and organise events, but unfortunately there hasn’t been any interest.  We are always extremely grateful for the volunteers that come forward to help on the night of the events, but the running of F&F and the planning and arranging of events is unmanageable for 2 people. 

It is with regret that from 31^st July 2023 Friends & Family will close and no future fundraising events will happen at school unless a new committee is formed.
