Marton & District C E Aided Primary School

Last night, Mr Stewart took the year 5/6 football team to Eaton Bank to take part in the the Vale tournament. The team put on a fantastic display winning their group, scoring ten goals and conceding none in the process. This led to them progressing to the semi-finals where they unfortunately lost 2-0 despite another fantastic performance. Every single member of the team played out of their skin but a special mention to Sam who channelled his inner Erling Haaland and scored some amazing goals, Artie who pulled off some fantastic saves and Martha who never stopped battling and even ended up with a black eye for her trouble.
