Happy New Year and welcome back to school.
I hope you all had an enjoyable Christmas and wish you all a happy and healthy 2023. Thank you so much for all the lovely gifts you gave to me at the end of last term, it was very kind and thoughtful.
As the children settle back in to school this week, I would just like to remind you of a few pieces of information.
- We will continue to be monitoring reading records. Every time you read with your child, please put the details in and sign the record. These signatures are then put on your child’s reward bookmark in school.
- Your child will be asked to change their book on their “Book change day”. These are on display at the door. Please make sure your child has their book in school on this day.
- PE will continue to be on Friday afternoon, so please can children wear full school PE kit on Friday. If there are any additional days when PE is needed I will let you know.
- I will continue to keep you updated with the week ahead on the board outside my classroom and via Seesaw messenger.
