Weekly message from Mrs Deakin
This week we welcomed Bishop Sam to school for Worship with Rev Arch and afterwards he met our Ethos Group and some Governors. He was very pleased to hear all about the work Ethos have undertaken and to hear about our forthcoming Christian Values Day which takes place on Tuesday. During the very special activities that Miss Copestick and Staff have planned for CVD, we will be thinking of Ukraine and designing a welcome poster to be displayed outside school.
It was wonderful to welcome children to the disco last night and everyone had a fantastic time. MANY thanks to F & F for organising this and to all parents and staff helpers.
On Friday 1st April Rachel has planned an Easter picnic day following the success of this week’s picnic lunch. It was an absolute pleasure to see children eating outside in the sunshine!
We’ve continued to have great sporting success this week at school and ‘Team Marton’ are making us all so proud! Well done to ALL involved.
It is Parent’s Surgery at school next Friday (from 9.10am) this will be led by the School Council who would like to talk to you about some of their exciting ideas. PLEASE do come and support your children.
Please don’t forget to book your Parent’s Evening appointment (Monday or Wednesday) online as the system will close on Sunday night.
Our Reception children held a Mummy Assembly today at school ready for Mother’s Day and we hope you all enjoyed this. Wishing all parents and carers a special day on Sunday too!
