    Dear Parents and Carers

I hope you have all had a great summer break and looking forward to returning to school on Tuesday.

Monday is an INSET (staff training day) day and as a staff we will be working on planning the school year ahead, discussing Covid Risk Assessments and the Curriculum. We will also be welcoming new members of staff who have been employed to support some children and we know you will make them all feel welcome. By the end of next week our annual Overview will be sent home for you to read and enjoy. The staff have worked so hard preparing classrooms and Mr Sproson has done an amazing job over the summer. I don’t think the school hall has ever looked so good! Jess and Rach @ Mad House have worked incredibly hard too, do take a look outside for their attractive displays.

You will all see that building work has now begun on our school roof and as such the small staff car park is now being used by contractors, we ask again for your patience and support in being mindful about parking and give consideration to our school neighbours.

We return on Tuesday to a new ‘normal’, with good Covid hygiene measures in place but without the need for bubbles or social distancing.  You will all be familiar with the Government road map as anyone testing positive will need to self-isolate but whole classes will not need to close. For children who do test positive remote learning will be available and staff are prepared for this. Please do continue to keep us informed following any positive cases in your household.

Wishing you all a super weekend, we are all looking forward to welcoming children back to school on Tuesday.

     Best wishes Nevin
