Wishing you all a very happy half term holiday and rest. Your children have enjoyed party day at school as part of F & F Birthday Club and Year 4 had yummy French treats in school today. A great way to end a very busy half term, I think!
We are still remaining Covid cautious, with hygiene practices firmly embedded and would ask you to continue to inform us if you suspect a positive Covid case. My direct email address is head@marton.cheshire.sch.ukand you are welcome to email throughout the holidays if need to. We would also ask for your continued support in wearing masks when arriving at school after half term, but should we receive further DFE guidance; will share this with you.
Reception 2021: HUGE thanks to our super EYFS team for delivering a Zoom welcome meeting for parents this week. Mrs. Owen and Mr. Shaw have such an engaging manner and I think new children joining us have a wonderful starting school experience. We are beginning our transition schedule after half term, and it feels very exciting.
Leavers 2021: As exciting as it is to welcome new children to school, we now prepare for our Year 6 children to move to High School and much work has begun in preparation for this. We want them to have the very best half term at school and feel ready for new challenges ahead.
We return to school on Monday 7th June and hope you all have a wonderful half term - and good weather!
