    Y1 home learning, January 2021

I hope you have all had a lovely Christmas break. Sadly, as you know, we are back to home learning for the next few weeks.

Thank you for your patience while Miss Andrew and I have been making up all of the home learning packs, which now many of you have collected.

After the Prime-ministers announcement last night, I uploaded this half terms home learning grid on our Y1 class web page.  This has lots of thematic ideas for you to be working on at home. They can be done in any order and I would advise you to take your time and complete the activities well, as you will have a few weeks to work through them. Please do take pictures and upload your work to seesaw because i would love to see your hard work. Please remember that you may not get a speedy response as I will also be working in school with some children but will try my best to log on as much as possible during the school day so we can communicate often.

Maths and phonics will be added to seesaw and you will receive posts on seesaw daily from tomorrow. You can also use the work in your home learning packs to keep you busy learning. Lot's of work sheets inside the pack relate to the home learning grid on our web page so please do take at look and try and have some fun doing it. Please don't worry if you cannot complete everything, and feel free to adapt the work slightly to make it work for you if you need to.

I'm really sad that we can't be in school all together, but i know it is for very good reasons as your health and safety is the most important thing to us. Do get in touch if you are struggling with anything and i'll try my best to help.

    With Love, Miss Copestick
