    5 January 2021 (by Year6)

Dear 6 pupils, parents and carers,

I hope you have all had a lovely Christmas and a happy new year!

I'm sure you were all surprised by last night's announcement that we will be moving back to home learning for this half term and I'd like to thank you for bearing with me this morning while I have been sorting out provision for you all.

I have uploaded a table of activities for you to complete to the year 6 page of the school website, linked to this term's topic of 'Rainforests'. I would advise that you complete 1 of these per day - pace yourselves and don't try to do everything at once! They can be completed in any order and you can take photos to add to Seesaw to show me what you have done. Additionally, I will add Maths and English activities to SeeSaw each day for you.

I know that some of you will struggle to have access to devices during the day if you have siblings and parents working from home, so please do not worry if you cannot complete everything or if you need to upload things in the evening.

If you need help with anything then I will be checking Seesaw many times throughout each school day and will respond to you as quickly as I can.

If you cannot access Seesaw then I have prepared a pack of activities for your parents to collect this afternoon - these can be completed on the worksheets and will provide you with enough work for the next 2-3 weeks, at which point I will arrange for another pack to be ready for you.

I know that this is not how we would like our spring term to begin, but Miss Byron has told me how well engaged you were with home learning last year and I know you will do well again with it this time around.

Please get in touch if you are struggling with ANYTHING and I will do my best to support you.

    With love,
    Mrs Wilson
