Dear Parents and Carers  

We are giving you advance notice for our annual post-Christmas treat as we appreciate the end of the year is very expensive.   

We have arranged for all children to visit New Vic theatre in Newcastle.  This year the show is the Prince and the Pauper on Wednesday 22nd January at 10.30am.  As all staff are attending, there will be no provision in school if your child is not going to the theatre.   

The children need to come to school in their school uniform as usual.  All children will require a packed lunch to eat when they return at midday.  Please order a sub lunch through ParentPay, nearer the time, for this day if you would like the kitchen to provide one.    

We are so lucky that because of your support Marton Friends and Family covers the annual cost of the transport so we are able to ask for theatre ticket payment only.  

Please complete the trip permission and payment on ParentPay to cover the cost of the ticket (£12.50) by Monday 11th November to enable us to confirm numbers with the theatre. Numbers of tickets are restricted so we do not think we will need parent helpers for this trip.

This is not a voluntary donation and funding is not available to cover the cost of this trip, we would ask you to contact the school office if you would like your child to attend but are unable to pay.  All discussions are confidential with the Headteacher or Bursar.
