Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
Apologies for the late message but I am currently enjoying the Year 6 Sleepover and Year 5 Camp Out at school! It has been a pleasure to watch the children enjoying themselves (and the staff too!)
I think we are incredibly lucky to have such dedicated staff (and parent helpers) who are willing to give up their weekend for our children and I felt the same way at Town Sports this week! The depth of support for all our sporting stars was so evident and is a testament to the family we have at school.
We have held interviews this week and I have great pleasure to announce that we have appointed two part time teaching assistants to further support our Key Stage 2 children in September. We will be welcoming Mrs Potts and Mrs Lau to our staff team and look forward to working with them.
We are also looking forward to our KS2 production next week and know how hard everyone has worked to make this a success.
Have a super weekend and enjoy the football tomorrow ... I can't wait!
