    Weekly news from Mrs Deakin

It has been a pleasure to welcome everybody back after half term and wonderful to share our Ofsted report with you at the beginning of the week, we hope you all enjoyed reading this.

Next week we will be welcoming new members of staff to school, Mrs McLean and Miss Heath will join us as great support and we look forward to them joining our team.

The C word has now been mentioned and all things Christmassy are currently being discussed. Please don’t forget to return your raffle tickets to school and be sure to attend the Christmas Fair on 25th November. We have been delighted with all your chocolate goodies for this week’s Friday Mountain; thank you so much. Well done to BLUE house team for collecting the most team points and being this week’s winning team. Next week is Bottle collection please.

Clonter Opera have contacted me as they are offering FREE tickets for Marton families for Puck’s Adventure on Saturday 10th December @ 2.30pm This is suitable for children aged 7+ but younger siblings would also enjoy the performance. Call Marillia - Clonter’s Box Office Manager on 01260 224 514 or email: boxoffice@clonter.org to claim free tickets and confirm you are from Marton school. https://www.clonter.org/event/pucks-adventure

Please don’t forget to book your appointments online for Parents Evening next week. Parents Evening takes place from 1.30pm on Monday and Wednesday (Monday only for Year 5) and children are able to leave school early once you have had your appointment, please go to the school office if you wish to take children home. All other children will remain at school till 3.30pm.
