A fun day back and a change to spellings.
We've had a great day back today, it's been lovely to see everyone again. We've started off the term learning about volcanoes and reading The Iron Man and I can just tell they're going to be popular topics! In fact, the children already know loads about magma, lava and volcanoes - I hope you've heard lots about them this evening!
I also let the children know that Miss Wright will be joining us on Monday. She is going to be with the class for 6 weeks and I am sure she will have a great time helping to teach your wonderful children. She met us all just before the Christmas break and I know she is really looking forward to joining the Marton family.
I just wanted to let you know that we're going to trial changing spellings to a Friday, I told the children today and just wanted to let you know. Whilst the children will bring home spellings every week, if they ever misplace them or are off for any reason our spellings are always available to download on the Year 3 webpage,
