Marton & District C E Aided Primary School

As we are approaching February half term, on behalf of myself and my fellow governors I would like to thank our whole school team for the wonderful work that they have been doing since term started in the New Year.

Everyone is working above and beyond to ensure that all children are supported whether they are in Reception or Year 6. A huge amount of work has been going on behind the scenes to establish home school links, which support our children in their learning. Through Seesaw, Zoom lessons, workbooks and a whole host of additional resources including CBBC, our class teachers are working incredibly hard to provide for all the children and home-schooling parents.

We are all facing a huge challenge, which last week got even harder when we had to close the KS1 and Reception bubbles. By working together and strictly following the government guidelines and advice I’m sure that we can get through this.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank parents for their support and encouragement to our staff in what are unprecedented times.
