Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
Today has been pretty delicious at school with Friends and Family organising 'Cupcake Friday' - I can't think of a better way to start the weekend. HUGE thanks to F&F for their creative and brilliant fundraising ideas.
Children have all been working so hard at school this week with massive thanks to our Year 6 who are preparing for SATS in May. Already we are thinking ahead about Transition and I wanted to remind you that our annual Move Up Mornings take place on Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th June. These mornings provide your children with a chance to meet their new teachers and classrooms and we always look forward to these days.
We have a vacancy for Site Maintenance Officer as Mr Sproson has secured another job. We are all delighted for Paul and thank him for his amazing work and support at Marton. He is a much-loved member of staff and we will miss him. If you know anyone who is interested in this role, do ask them to contact the school office. Paul will leave Marton after May Half Term and we hope to find a replacement for him by then.
We are still desperate for mid day assistants - please do share this info with friends and families.
