Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
Thank you for all your support this week. It's been a busy but very rewarding week at school and I'd like to thank everyone for their efforts and contributions. The details of our SIAMs inspection cannot be shared yet but inspectors were so complimentary during their visit and we look forward to sharing the report with you when we receive this after Easter.
It was a pleasure to welcome parents on Wednesday for parents meetings; we always love an opportunity to celebrate your children and their achievements. Thank you for rescheduling your times to meet class teachers too.
Today we've ended the term with a Christian Values Day and Ethos Group with Miss Copestick were amazing!
After the Easter holidays, Mrs Jones will return to school following her maternity leave and she will support Mrs Wilson and help with SATs prep. As we've now had our SIAMs inspection, Miss Copestick will return to her full teaching commitment and will support year 2 and year 5 after Easter. Mr Stewart will also be supporting St John's (part time) during the summer term too. It's going to be a busy term all round!
Today your children have received an Easter egg from a very generous family and everyone was excited!
