With the Science trip fast approaching, I would just like to give you some more information about the day. I visited the museum at the start of the week and am very excited to be taking your children to the museum to experience lots of hands-on science.
The children will all be visiting 4 different galleries or exhibitions during the day. These are: The textiles gallery, The Experiment gallery, The Revolution gallery and The Revolution show. We have also scheduled a time for each class in the Picnic room.
On the day, please make sure your child comes to school on time and with a packed lunch if you have confirmed you are providing one. We will be providing a morning snack so there is no need to send your child in with anything additional.
I would also like to remind you that this is an educational trip and as such, any children who do not attend will be marked as absent as the school will be closed whilst we are visiting the museum. If you have decided that your child is not going to go on the trip, they will have to stay at home because all members of staff will be on the trip.
It is going to be a very exciting week as we have arranged lots of other experiences for the children throughout the week.
