Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
Huge ‘Well Done’ to Year 6 for how they tackled SATs this week; they arrived early for breakfast, all participated and did their very best and we are SO proud of them all! Thank you to all parents and carers for supporting children with very special thanks to Mrs Wilson and Mrs Woodmass for all their hard work and enthusiasm!
We’ve had a real celebration around school today with our Coronation party lunch outside and ASM games afternoon. The sun was shining and everyone had such a special time! Many thanks to Rach and Michelle for party boxes and lunches – these were yummy! Big John and Dean from ASM were brilliant and the final Tug O' War was such fun (who knew the staff were so competitive!) At the end of the day, everyone had home-made cookies and we were all together on the field (pics to follow on Twitter). There really is no place like Marton and we all love our school family so much.
