Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
It is clear from the notifications via Seesaw just how busy your children have been with their online learning this week. We have seen some exceptional work, videos, story retelling, painting, amazing White Rose Maths and many fact finding activities.
This week we have welcomed two new pupils at Marton and I felt immensely proud of how our reception children recorded themselves by welcoming one of their new class mates to school. It really was utterly delightful!
There has been much information to share with you all regarding the PMs announcement last Sunday. As a Governing Body we are composing a very lengthy letter which will be shared over the weekend, explaining the full details of school opening from 1st June.
You will know from talking to other families from other schools, every school has to find a way to adopt the recommendations and therefore each school will have their own details for opening. Whilst the letter is extremely long, it clearly states all the information we have been working on this week.
It’s been absolutely ‘incredible’ to see all of the children's superheroes pictures and videos, we hope to be able to send these pictures to the Congleton Chronicle as part of the whole town’s involvement in raising funds for charities and the NHS. We hope the staff video made you all smile too.
