2014 -2015

Keep an eye on our weekly newsletter for up to date information and events.

The PTA have supported the School-Church Crib Project by donating £100 to 7 classes. This has covered the cost of a days workshop delivered by Chris Gilbert - The Art and Soul Man and his time and resources to plan and produce 7 wooden templates for each class to paint and finish. We are so proud and pleased to support this, as community is truly at the heart of Marton School!

HO HO HO Merry Christmas!

Preparations for the annual Christmas Fair have begun and we start by the come back of the Friday Mountains. All families are asked to contribute items in each themed week. On each Friday morning leading up to the Christmas Fair, take your donated items into the hall and add them to the class hoops - thank you for all the bottles so far!!!

Please watch the newsletter for more information on this and we hope that all can come and enjoy the Christmas Fair on Friday 5th December 2014!

Lets have some fun and raise some money!

2013 -2014

12 hour Darts Marathon 8th February 9am - 9pm

The Darts Marathon, led by Mr Paul Green was a wonderful success. It was great to see a steady stream of Marton supporters rolling up to the school hall on a saturday to stand in line to throw some darts. The food provided by Mrs Reynolds and Mrs Green was delicious and went down a treat, feeding some hungry tums!

Not only did this gather funds for our 'ICT fund', it was a great event for the whole family!

14th February 2014 Valentines Disco...

The valentines disco gives the children a chance to let off steam at the end of the half term and enjoy a dance and some treats with all of their friends.

Plenty of smiles and 'love in the air!'

A metre of silver! March - April 2014

The house teams in school have gone head to head to race to collect a metre of silver money.

Congratulations to Capesthorne and Gawsworth who were the first 2 teams to get to 1 metre. These teams have had a film and popcorn treat to thank and congratulate them!
