Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
We have thoroughly enjoyed welcoming parents, carers, friends and family to school today for our magnificent Enterprise Market. Every class was (deservedly) so proud of all their handiwork and their creative ideas and we thank you for supporting your children in purchasing these items. It’s been a very special Christian Values Day all round! There will be further opportunities to purchase these enterprise projects at other social events – so do come prepared!
I also had the pleasure of welcoming reception children to my office today for delicious treats to thank them for all their hard writing work this week. It was a wonderful start to the day!
We can confirm that Sports Day will be happening next Friday 21st June, unless the weather makes it unsafe. The timings are:
EYFS @ 9.30am
KS1 @ 10.30am
KS2 @ 1.30pm
Parents are welcome to bring a picnic and chairs/rug and have lunch outside (if the weather is good) or you can purchase a sandwich & cookie from Rachel’s sub bar for £2.20 if you want to stay all day.
